The Wee Bag - Culloden

Unit price  per

If you are one of those people who prefer a smaller crossbody bag, then the Wee Bag is for you!  It is small, but mighty, with a roomy interior, a zip pocket and a slip pocket for all of your essentials.  But it maintains a wonderfully small and slim profile that makes it perfect for any outing.

The strap is fully adjustable with a slide. The full strap length is 60 inches long.

The dimensions are:

7.5" from top to bottom

10.75" from side to side

2" wide on the bottom

The front of this bag is the beautiful Culloden tartan, a new one in my collection. After the Battle of Culloden (you Outlander fans know all about this battle!) the body of a French soldier was found with an unknown, but beautiful tartan. “French solider?” I hear you say. Yes, in the 18th century there was a strong alliance between the Scots and the French. They often fought in the armies of the other. This tartan was reproduced by Locharron of Scotland from a piece of the fabric from that original coat.

Inside is a decidedly Celtic thistle print from Lewis and Irene. The bottom is a brown pull-up leather leather that suits this tartan to a T. The strap is a 5/6oz Tasman leather in brown. It's all topped off with a sassy (removable) tassel! All leather has been set with antique brass rivets.
